Abtec - Abrasive Technology

Just about anything possible that's abrasive, plus metrology. A delight to deal with helpful professional service. Situated in Cambridgeshire and they even have a free phone number.

Bearings Direct AND V Belts

Very helpful people for all kinds of bearings and they do understand what Imperial means and stock them. Always helpful and fast delivery.

Also a great place to get drive belts from.

Le Provo

Primarily a leather merchant, but they also stock upholstery parts. Without doubt the best place to go for leather belting for old machines, and if they haven't got it on their site ask, because they will get it for you. Also the only place on the planet where you can get pure neatsfoot oil in gallon containers. Very helpful and if they have it very quick.

Bailey Paints

If your looking for a brushing enamel par excellence for your old machinery look no further. I have used this on my Lorch and the finish is brilliant. I shall be using it on all my machines in the near future. Carriage is a little costly as it has to go by special courier, but if your ordering several tins or cans its not that bad. Very helpful, they even sent me on loan some colour swatches.

Emkay for Screws Nuts & Bolts

Fastest service in the universe, usually you will get it tomorrow. But even if not in stock this is the place to go for small amounts or big. And, especially for those hard to get Imperial sizes. So anyone involved in restoration or model engineering could not do better than bookmark this company. The proprietor Martin Kirsopp couldnt not be more helpful.
